“There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. Walk the Gemba.”
– Morpheus
Program Overview:
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training program provides a practical, structured introduction to process improvement through a blend of live instruction, guided, and self-directed learning.
Beginning with an overview of Lean Six Sigma principles and the DEFINE phase, participants learn to identify waste and select meaningful improvement projects. The program then moves into the MEASURE phase, where learners develop skills in process mapping, root cause analysis using tools such as cause-and-effect and XY diagrams, and data collection and analysis techniques including FMEA and statistical process control.
In the CONTROL phase, participants focus on sustaining improvements through control planning and understanding organizational change.
The program is supported by live review sessions, hands-on project work, and practical templates, culminating in an open-book, multiple-choice exam.
This training equips participants with foundational tools to contribute effectively to continuous improvement initiatives within their organizations. Participants will gain an overview of the tools, techniques, and methodologies of Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
